Stitch
CH Burwell Knockout First Commander at Marina of Hope
May 3, 2022
Stitch is a moderate-sized wavy black and white 54 pound male who is available at stud to approved bitches. His health testing information is available here.
Show
If you are looking for Stitch during the weekends in the summer, you had better run to your local dog show. He and his human sister can be found in the show ring most weekends, either in juniors or the breed ring. He is shown exclusively by his junior owner handler.
Serve
The love Stitch has for his junior handler and the show ring is a testament of the joy and fun (and hard work) of the sport of dog showing. Stitch and his junior handler make it look easy but many long hours have been spent in class and in the show ring. Stitch and his junior handler finished the 2025 show season as the Number #1 Junior Handling team for Portuguese Water Dogs. Let’s see what 2026 brings for this dynamic duo!
Shine
When not in the show ring with his favorite junior handler human sister, Stitch’s two favorite activities are playing with his littermate Kiss and hanging with his family. He’s also a fantastic ambassador for the breed while working alongside his human mom at the vet’s office where she works!
Kirby
RBIS GCHB CH Peja Knock One Out Of The Park AOM CH-CKC AOM
June 6, 2014

Kirby’s life in three words:
Show
During his show career, Kirby earned more than 50 Best of Breed awards, championships in two countries, and had a #12 finish in breed and all breed in 2017.
Serve
After retirement, Kirby was a blood donor for 2 years, was part of the PES genetic marker research at UPenn, and was in Phase 3 of the Shine On Study at the University of Minnesota.
Shine
When he was not keeping his get and grand-get in line, Kirby’s favorite activity before his death in November of 2024 was to be back in the show ring to teach the fine art of dog showing to his favorite junior handler.
